Handy Insurance related and Safety related Apps

This app (android and blackberry only) provides hands free texting options without having a fancy new vehicle. We recommend it, especially to increase driver safety. Surpisingly, texting while driving is about as dangerous as driving under the influence (or without adequeate sleep).

This is a paid app ($4.99) that provides hands free texting for Iphones. One excellent feature is that it provides free SMS texting! Some feel that the built in Siri-based voice-to-text is good enough. But for those who are frustrated with Siri, this may be an excellent app.

A free app from American Red Cross that contains first aid tips for a variety of situations. Extremely helpful, free, and lightweight app.
